HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY!

A very very Happy 66th Republic Day to all readers!  To start from where all of it started, very few know that on 19th November 1949, our constitution was ready. On 24th January 1950, it was signed and on 26th January 1950, it was finally launched. Also On 26th january 1950, the resident of viceroy was renamed as "rashtapati bhawan".

This time more 1.25 lakhs people are witnessing the ceremony.

These is some highlights of today's 66th republic day ceremony held at rajpath, new delhi.

Raim and fog which captured rajpath could not stop the pople from coming to rajpath to witness the ceremony. Till 9 in the morning, as shown on television, rajpath was fully occupied with people.

About 9.34, firstly our defence minister shri. Manohar arrived and payed condolences at the amar jawan jyoti to the soldiers who died in the battlefield for their nation.

Then about 9.40 our respected prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi arrived greeted by defense minister. He observed 2 minute silence at the amar jawan jyoti to pay homage to the soldiers. He also wrote something in the visitors book and left india gate moving towards rajpath.

At 9.50, prime minister shri Narendra modi arrived at the saluting base which is basically a bulletproof glass chamber. He waved to everyone for greeting him so warmly.

At 9.53, the vice president of india Mr. Muhammad Ansaari and Mrs. Salma Ansaari arrived at the saluting base greeted by honourable Narendra modi.

Finally, after a long wait the cheers became louder when around 9.55, beast was spotted proceeding towards saluting base. American president Mr. Barack Obama, who was our chief guest for the morning arrived at rajpath, along with his wife Mrs. Michelle Obama, escorted by Mr. modi and cheered by the crowd.

Around 10 'o' clock, our president Mr. Pranab Mukherjee arrived at rajpath.

At 10.03, our national flag 'The Tiranga' was hoisted followed by our national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' and greeted by firing of 21 mortars.

The programme proceeded by the distribution of the highest bravery award of India 'Ashoka Chakra' (posthumous) to-
1. Late Mr. Mukund vardhrajan
2. Late Mr. Nayak neeraj kumar singh.

On this note, the parade of republic day started with the various defence troops of our country. All the regiments of Indian army, navy and air force came marching to rajpath saluting, to which they were saluted back by honourable president. For the first time ever, all the women cadets and regiments were also included in the march pass.

Tablos from the Indian army navy and air force were presented along with the newly developed war vehicles, like the tank "BHISHMA", missiles, and air vehicles like MIG.

As the march pass ended various tablos from different states depicting their strengths came to the forefront followed by the tablos from various governmental departments. Motives like "MAKE IN INDIA",  "SAVE THE GIRL CHILD",  and "PRADHAN MANTRI JAN DHAN YOJNA" were the main highlights.

Soon, rajpath was converted into a stage where girls and boys from many schools and colleges performed on different topics like "A CLEANER INDIA". Folk dance was also seen.

Now came the most breathtaking part of the parade which comprised of many formations on motorbikes by the "BORDER SECURITY FORCES(BSF)", the most difficult among them being a formation where 39 men were on 9 bikes.

Last but not the least, the R-parade ended with a magnificent showdown of MIGs, helicopters and ariel vehicles.

Obama seemed delighted and so was I.

#take pride in being an indian.
#HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY.

A NOTE TO DELHI ELECTIONS

To Delhi,

Some months back, Mr. Narendra Modi became the prime minister of india and that time if i were to vote, i had surely pressed a NOTA. But today, tables have turned. Seeing all the slow and gradually taken steps which are moving us, the Indians,  towards achievable success are compelling me to become a part of what everyone said as the "modi wave". He is a man of vision. He has leadership skill and a stong ability of foreseeing things and impacts of what he does today.

On the other hand, The founder of "Aam aadmi party" acronym as AAP, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, or "mufler man" is actually an aam aadmi, or a mango person who thinks good for the nation, but is never able to execute his blueprint properly. What he does seems good at that moment, but it would bring a negative impact later. He is no different from us, and people who think that it is his strength are actually not seeing that to be a C.M. or a P.M. one must think like a leader, not like a common man. He reminds me of the movie "GOD TUSSI GREAT HO" where initially when salman khan is made God things seem to be good but later brings doom because he thought like a common man and not like God.

Modi sarkar is a fine example of slow and steady wins the race! Our prime minister is working accordingly, for five long years and would surely make India a better democracy, a corruption free nation.

If now i were a resident of delhi, my vote must have gone to BJP, to its candidate kiran bedi, for she was an able IPS officer, she served the government for 37 years in the field of administration, she is well educated, has a leadership ability and is strong on her words and work. Moreover, she is a candidate of BJP and so it's much better to have the same party in the centre as well as in the most important union territory DELHI for a good financial aid and proper development.

#this time, vote for kiran bedi.
#let the right candidate win.
#WITH BJP IN DELHI ELECTIONS.

A note to my special man!

Sometimes life takes a sharp turn, and sends the person most near and dear to you away from you. May it be emotionally or physically. That time you always think like,"why did it happen." but at the end when you look back and examine your life, you'll see, whatever happened it was for good.

Some years back, you were emotionally very far away, no matter physically you were near. Now you are emotionally near to me, but physically 600 km far. But seriously telling, this situation is far more better than what it was earlier. Seeing those emotionless eyes was more painful than not seeing them at all. And you know what, I looked back and found, whatever happened was actually for the good. If you hadn't gone far , then i wouldn't have realised how special and magical it feels to be with you. I would have never realised what you actually mean to me. I can't survive well without you, that i know now. And how much i trust you, care for you and respect you i know it now. I have seen you grow as a person over years. You know me well and that's why we are the one breaking a taboo that "long distance relationship don't last long." You are far, yet you are near. I feel you to be with me, in the form of those slangs which i speak, those clothes which i wear, those pens i carry (ya! I still have those pens which you gifted me). I feel you everywhere, I see you nowhere.

I'll be praying for you till my last breath. It's not cheesy, but yes! I am happy because you are happy. Your beautiful face and charming smile is the most mesmerizing thing of this world to me, for you are my only world.

An Unbelievable Incident!

I was very excited. It was our new year sports fiesta in our society. I was excited about the fact that we'll meet friends, participate in games and have a delicious lunch together.

Games were nearly over, and we all were off for lunch. We had coupon system. All the residents slowly started filling their plates. Among these rich so called high class, well bred and well cultured people my eyes stopped on a man who was standing in the line wearing almost rags in this chilly winter afternoon.

I was at a distant busy with my mobile, when I heard some serious yelling by our watchman. He was accusing him of not giving the coupon and still attempting to take a plate. He in a very low voice said," i gave the coupon to you". From the other side what came was a slap! Yes, i am not kidding! It was indeed a slap, a very tight one given on his face by a very rich man of our society, 'mr. Bhanu mishra,  our society's president'.

I couldn't control my anger and what immediately came out from my mouth was, "what kind of people are these? Shameless isn't it! " i felt very bad for that man. He hung his face and went out of the park. I deliberately went at that point of time to take food and very calmly just said to the watchman,"you should not have beaten him up. He came to ask for food. If you wanted you could have easily rejected it. But beating anyone was never an option". He was left speechless.

Guys, seriously telling that day i could not eat in peace. I was in a rage all the time. He is poor, he doesn't have good clothes to wear, good food to eat, but still he's a human being. He's a resident of a country named India and the government bestows all rights and duties upon him. He's just like you. So who gave you the right to thrash him? Does his low bank balance also makes his self respect cheap? How would you feel if one day you are treated like this? All these questions haunted my mind. In addition to it, i was ashamed of our society. Of those people who were standing at that point that very time. Was finishing food so important? Or you were totally ignorant because of some silly reason that "oh boy he's poor and he must be used to such things". Why noone stood up to help him? Why they went dumb when one  man was showing his dominance over another. Shame upon all those people who think poor are made to be insulted. Shame!

Some minutes later.....

I saw bhanu mishra standing with his friends chit chatting.

Bhanu-"you know bhargva, i just thrashed him. He went and will never dare to come back."

Bhargava-"hahahah...nice nice"
........!!!
#unbelievable

Later it was discovered, the poor man actually had the coupon. He was beaten for something which he deserved.

The vow- totally wow!

Today I saw, "The Vow" and there was one dialogue which i couldn't forget. There was this one scene in which the protagonist 'Paige' comes to know that her father had an affair with her friend and her mother knew about it. She confronts her mother to which her mother replies,

"I wanted to leave him, but then one afternoon I saw all the photographes which belonged to you and your sister. And I just couldn't go."

Paige, "so you just wasped it like that? "

Mom," I forgave him. I decided to be with him for so many things what he had done right, and not to leave him for that one thing which he had done wrong."

There are times, when we are hurt because of someone. Someone who is close, who is special! But, commiting a mistake dosen't make you bad from inside.
We do wrong things, but it can't make us a wrong person.

Don't judge a person by his actions, judge him by his intentions.

P.07- Wo"man" -that man!

I mostly don't prefer to write poems im hindi, but its our national language and i respect it immensly. I love my language and the woman of my country.
So for my nation aur is desh ki mahilaao ke liye ek chota sa prayaas.

Wo"man"-that man!

Main ek rashtrapati hoon,
Main ek majdoor hoon,
Ho rahi hoon aatmsashakt,
Ablaa nahi main shoor hoon.

Main ek patrakaar hoon,
Main ek kalakaar hoon,
Pati ke liye unki chahat,
Aur putra ke liye sansaar hoon,

Karma karke aamdani karti hoon,
Annapurna ban sabka pet bharti hoon,
Rakhti hoon main sabko sangathit,
Jeevan ki nayi sharto se nahi darti hoon.

Mere pas svayam ke liye waqt nahi,
Phir bhi utsaah urr mein kum nahi,
Main hoon ek stree,
Chahti hoon matra prem evam pratistha,
Aur kuch nahi !!!
